Welcome!

Hello all and welcome to my blog! My name is Greg, and I am a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science! Although I am a full-time student at MIT, I decided to radically change things up this year by studying abroad at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom (hence the flag below!) via the Cambridge-MIT Exchange (CME), where I will be studying and preparing for the Engineering Tripos (as known as "exams" in more mundane speak), which take place some time in April towards the end of the school year.

Like those that participated in CME before I did, I wanted to create this blog so that I could share my experiences and insights about living and learning at such a prestigious, but also extremely different, university. I hope that this blog will serve as a useful guide for future CME students, especially for those like me who may not be so used to traveling, let alone studying and living, abroad. While I certainly will not attempt to scare people away from undertaking such a fantastic opportunity as this one, I will do my best to be objective in my descriptions and evaluations of my experiences. Studying abroad can be somewhat nerve-wracking, and I do not want to diminish or in any way cover up that fact. However, rest assured that these fears can be overcome, and I certainly hope that my blog will help in mitigating some of those concerns.

Well, that's an overview of my blog for the coming months. Let's dive in, shall we?
